The brains behind this outfit, Chris has assembled an all-star cast of guys to create the best gaming environment on the net. Combined with his dream of having his own site, and having people in his network with amazing skills, Chris set out to prove that anything is possible with the proper amounts of daydreaming, listening to people, hard work, and minimal sleep habits.
Chris is the the proud father of two little boys, Christian and Nicholas (that's him in my pic!), and lucky husband of one beautiful woman (how ya doing hun?)... Veronica. He considers himself a family man as well as a business man and takes both very seriously.
American National, Michael Esposito is a 22 year old freelancer, Web Coder, Designer, and Ordained Reverend (really). Major in Computer Science and on the tail end of his BA. When not working for the Eye of the Vortex or playing games, he's constantly searching to better himself in any trade that he takes up.
I am responsible for the day to day operations of our forums, The Vortex.
I am an avid video game collector and player. I have in my collection thousands of games from first generation consoles like ATARI to Modern beasts like the 360.
In my personal life I am a married father of 3, a stay at home father which gives me free time to make sure The Vortex has the latest and greatest in forum technology.
Should you have any concerns with our forums, feel free to contact me any time, you can use the above e-mail address or visit the forums and shoot me a PM. See all of Toby Hoover's Articles

J.R. Rappoport currently lives in New York City and will constantly complain about an unstable internet connection. He has been suckling at the teat of high immersion RPGs and adventure games for quite some time along with all other manners of geekery. This makes him a formidable opponent when discussing the finer points of games, mechanics, story structure and story-telling along with anything that may or may not exist. He is also a rather able cosplay and prop designer. Accomplishments include top ten ranking on StarCraft (when people still cared about StarCraft 1) and several small writing awards.
I'm a video games writer here in the Eye of the Vortex. I'm a ripe old age of 20, currently living in the UK and studying European Theatre at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance.
Yeah the two don't really go together all that much, but I wouldn't have it any other way. In one world I pretend to be the Dovahkiin or a Bandicoot with severe mental issues. While in the other world I still pretend I am the Dovahkiin or a Bandicoot with severe mental issues. So I guess the two don't differ that much...
Want to drop me a line? My email is above or you can find me on twitter @Negadrago
Cheers!
Anderson Rolf lives is an aspiring writer who lives in New York City. He thinks the late 90's/early 2000's was the greatest era in all of video games and doesn't know why kids these days don't feel that way too.
Marcel Hidalgo lives in his hometown of New York City. He is 21 years old and currently a senior at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY where he studies writing and the humanities. Although his mind seems to change every other day, he plans on taking a year off before going onto graduate school to study either literature, art history, or creative writing. Besides working for Eye of the Vortex, he writes articles on music and has conducted interviews with independent musicians for his Tumblr blog (onthisistand.tumblr.com). Before joining the staff of Eye of the Vortex, he did work for a social networking website for hip hop artists called iamcrack.com. He looks forward to what he can offer to EoV and is pleased to be on the team.
After years of languishing in a cell deep in the jungles of Croatia, I have finally made my way back to civilization. My account of the time I spent fighting as a guerrilla with the Aznatalac rebels, "Wakanapa Sunrise", is currently being negotiated over by three Hollywood Studios. In my spare time I plot my revenge against the Duke of Roblett for what he did to me, collect newspaper clippings that support my theory about the End of the World (As We Know It), and play jazz harmonica.
Writer, Pixel artist, Video games enthusiast and smooth talker, Max Wright is an 18 year old blogger from the UK who plays video games, has opinions, moulds those opinions into coherent sentences and then writes something completely unrelated.
A PC gamer, I play the latest indie games and tend to avoid competitive games, in my opinion there's nothing more rewarding and than a co-op game with friends (except maybe crippling loneliness)
A serious man with a serious plan, David Radford is a writer who values good plots as much as he admires well throughout mechanics. He also likes milk.
