GenCon Tournament Announcement

Our new sponsor, Bastion Studio, would like to let you know about their upcoming Ex illis Open tournament that will be held at GenCon. If you are into miniatures and war games, then this tournament is for you. If you are not into that, but like the idea of winning an iPad, or an iPad Touch, then this is still for you. I sure wish it were for me... (partnership technicalities...)

Be sure to stop by their booth at the convention and tell them you heard about the tournament from EoV!

Quest Finale

At long last, I am pleased to announce the winners of the Quest: Enter the Vortex contest. I apologize for the lengthy delay, as between finding a third winner and some issues on my end, I dragged the contest out entirely too long. My sincere apologies are extended.

Your winners can be found here.

It isn't very often that you come across a game that is completely unique in its setup and execution. At Origins Game Fair 2009, I found one of these games - an RPG from a small company publishing books through Studio 2 Publishing called Shard Studios. The game is SHARD and it releases to the public later this month - check out my thoughts after the jump.
